The Indian Barat which is known for their grandeur is one of the prime ingredients of the Indian Wedding ceremonies. The Wedding Barat is basically a dance and music procession that proceeds from the groom place towards the wedding venue.

The Groom seated on a decorated horse accompanied by his cousins, siblings’ is greeted with flowers garland and rose petals by the people from the bride's side. The mother of the bride applies Tilak on groom's forehead and performs Aarti to ward off any evil. Fireworks are also lit as the Wedding Barat approaches the Bride’s place.
